DIY: Heart elbow patches

Tal y como os dije, hoy os traigo el tutorial DIY del jersey que llevaba en el look de ayer, aquí. Como veréis es muy muy simple y en las imágenes de ve muy claro.

As I told you, Today here you have the DIY tutorial of the elbow patches of the jumper I wore on yesterday's look, here. It is very easy and on the images the process is very well visualized.

1. Dibujar medio corazón en una cartulina doblada. 

2. Cortar la forma. 

3. Fijar la forma foblada a un trozo de fieltro, también doblado, y cortar. 

4. Fijar los corazones de fieltro al jersey con alfileres y coser con puntadas pequeñas. 

1. Draw a half heart shape on a folded card

2. Cut the shape

3. Fix the folded shape to a folded piece of felt with pins and cut it.

4. Fix the felt hearts with pins to the jumper and sew it with small stitches.

Hearted

Hoy os traigo un look de esos un poco empalagosos, con corazones, rosa y falda de vuelo. Sin embargo, creo que el cuero de la falda, los botines y el bolso, le restan algo de dulzura al conjunto, o esa era mi intención. La otra tarde necesitaba un ratito de relax y lo empleé cosiéndole estas coderas tan románticas al jersey. ¿Os gusta el resultado? Mañana os traigo el tutorial DIY, que es muy fácil, y a ver si os animáis a hacerlo. ¡Estad atentas! :) 

Today's look is a bit oversweetened, with hearts, pink and a full skirt. However, I've tried to take up some of its sweetness adding leather, the boots and the bag. Some afternoons ago I needed some relax and I sewed these romantic elbow patches to my jumper. Do you like them? Tomorrow I'll show you  how you can do it on a tutorial. Stay tuned! :)

¡Buenos días de Lunes! Espero que hayáis empezado la semana con buen pie, la verdad es que yo odio los lunes. Después de haber pasado un fin de semana relajado, hay que volver a la estresante rutina. Éste ha sido uno de mis looks este fin de semana, vestida prácticamente igual a como fui a la inauguración del restaurante Abrassame del que os hablé aquí el viernes. Le estoy sacando mucho partido a esta sudadera, porque además de ser comodísima, me permite llevarla en looks totalmente distintos, desde más arreglados a más informales, para ir cada día a clase. La verdad es que las sudaderas se están haciendo con un buen espacio de mi armario esta temporada. ¿Os gustan a vosotras?

Good Monday! I hope you've started the week in a nice way. I really hate Mondays, after a relaxing weekend it is difficult to go back to the stressful routine. This has been one of my looks this weekend, almost  identic to the one I wore to the restaurant's opening party I told you on Friday, here. I'm using a lot this sweater because, apart from being very comfortable, it can be worn in very different ways, from dressed up looks to casual ones. Do you like sweaters?

Abrassame

Hace unas semanas se inauguró el restaurante Abrassame, situado en la cúpula 360º del CC Las Arenas en Barcelona. Disfrutamos de una noche de risas y deliciosos platos a modo degustación en un lugar cuidado hasta el más mínimo detalle. En el dentro del restaurante está la barra-cocina, donde los cocineros hacen su show cooking, para no perder detalle de como preparan esos riquísimos platos. Don Ostra, con unos cubos llenos del exquisito molusco, iba pasando por las mesas preparando ostras a quien quisiese. Además, el restaurante dispone de unas salitas preciosas que se pueden reservar para grupos reducidos u ocasiones especiales. Un lugar para gente de todas las edades y todos los gustos, como pudimos ver, y del que todo el mundo saldrá contento por la gran variedad y calidad que ofrecen. Fui con una amiga, y la verdad es que las dos volvimos a casa con muy buena sensación. Posiblemente repita y la próxima vez me traiga al fotógrafo conmigo, que sé que lo disfrutará. ¿Conocíais este restaurante?

Some weeks ago, Abrassame, a cool restaurant un Barcelona, launched its Opening party. The place has nice decoration and customers can enjoy a show cooking in the middle of the main room, where there is the bar and the kitchen. We spent a great night with laughs and delicious food.

Rock and baroque

Si la semana pasada os hablaba de vestidos de manga larga, hoy os traigo uno sin mangas que llevo a modo de pichi con una camiseta debajo. ¡Si no lleva mangas, pues se las añado yo! Lo llamativo de este vestido es  su tejido brocado con una estampado muy barroco en azul y amarillo verdoso. Además, lleva un cuello de polipiel negro que lo hace aún más especial, lo que el día que sacamos las fotos hacía bastante aire y tuve que llevar un fular, tapando así el detalle del cuello, porque sino luego la garganta se resiente. 

Last week I talked about long-sleeved dresses, but today I show you a sleeveless one. I'm wearing it over a long-sleeved top, so if it doesn't have sleeves, let's add them! The baroque print of the dress makes it very special, as well as it's bright colours. It also has a leather collar, but when we took the pictures was windy and I needed to cover my neck with a foulard.

My own military style

La verdad es que he sucumbido poco a la tendencia camuflaje, cayó un top a principios de temporada, pero realmente tanto estampado del estilo me ha saturado un poco. Sin embargo, la tendencia militar, del modo en que la llevo hoy, me encanta. Tengo esta chaqueta de aires militares desde hace un par de temporadas y no me canso de ella, da un giro a cualquier conjunto. Este fue mi look de ayer domingo, y la verdad es que fue de esos rápidos que te vas poniendo prendas sin pensar y que casualmente acaban teniendo un buen resultado. Me gusta que esto de improvisar salga tan bien. Tanto, que creo que voy a llevarlo tal cual más veces. 

I haven't really fallen in love with the camouflage trend, I bought a top some months ago, but I've become fed up with this kind of print. However, I like military style the way I'm wearing it in today's look. I bought this jacket some years ago and I still love it. This look is what I wore yesterday. One of these looks that you make quickly because you're in a hurry and don't have time to think too much, but at the end everything matches perfectly. I really love the result and I think I'll wear it the same way more times.

Chunky knit + ladylike minidress

Encontrar vestidos con manga larga suele ser tarea difícil. No entiendo porqué se empeñan en querer vendernos vestidos sin mangas en invierno, cuando, creo, que todas vamos buscando esas prendas más abrigaditas, y ¿por qué no? un vestido podría entrar dentro de ellas. Por eso mismo, al ver este bonito mini vestido, me gustó más aún por el hecho de que tuviese manga, aunque sea 3/4, ya que le veo más sentido para esta época. Es ideal para ir arregladita, aunque yo he preferido quitarle ese punto arreglado y algo de ñoñería con un maxi cardigan de punto bien gordito, que creo que le da un aire mucho más casual y con el que me siento más a gusto. ¿Os gusta mi manera de llevarlo? ¿Cómo lo llevaríais vosotras?

Finding long sleeved-dresses is always a difficult task. I don't understand why shops try to sell us sleeveless dresses in winter, just when, I believe, we are all looking for warm garments. That's why, when I saw this nice dress, I liked it even more. It is ideal to dress up, but I prefered to give it a casual look with this big chunky cardigan.  How would you wear it?

It's all about accessories

Empezamos la semana con un look en donde los complementos son esenciales ya que son los responsables de darle toda la personalidad al conjunto. Por un lado el sobrero de ala ancha, perfecto para el otoño, muy chic. Y luego, por otro lado, estos preciosos y comodíiiisimos botines con mini tachuelas y un punto rockero que me gusta mucho.

We start the week with a look where the accessories are essential because they are the responsible of adding personality to the whole outfit. On my head there's the felt hat, perfect for autumn and very chic. And my feet are in the most comfy heeled boots I have; they have lots of little studs at the back, making them more rocker.

Dots all over my legs

Otro de mis looks para recorrer Munich, esta vez con pitillos de topos y sudadera amplia. La sudadera la compramos allí mismo. me encantó el discreto estampado barroco y los brochazos en pintura dorada que lleva por el pecho y los hombros. La verdad es que pensaba que íbamos a pasar mucho frío, pero tuvimos unos días muy buenos y había momentos en que el abrigo sobraba. 

Another of my outfits to visit Munich, this time with dotted skinnies and a wide sweater. I bought the sweater there, I instantly fell in love with its discreet barroque print and the golden brush strokes on the chest and shoulders. The truth is that I thought it was going to be cold, but the weather was really nice and there were moments when the coat was unnecessary.
