Romantic urban

Last days the weather in Barcelona has been totally crazy. It's difficult to know in the morning what should I wear, because the day changes so much as the hours are passing by. In the middle of October we can still go bare legged and with sleeveless tops if the sun shines. For these kind of "crazy" periods I love this kind of looks that can be adapted for different situations and just adding a cardigan they are perfect if the weather cools. Once again, I wanted to adapt a sweet blouse for a urban style, with my new favourite acid-washed jeans and a pair of boots. What do you wear those crazy days?

Estos últimos días en el tiempo en Barcelona está bastante loco. Es difícil saber de buena mañana qué ponerse ya que a media que el tiempo va trascurriendo las temperaturas varían como quieren. Estando ya a mediados de Octubre, hay momento en los que aún se puede ir tranquilamente con las piernas al aire y tops sin mangas. Para estos períodos locos, me encanta llevar este tipo de looks todoterreno en los que simplemente añadiendo un cardigan ya podemos resguardarnos del fresquillo que puede aparecer en cualquier momento. Una vez más, he querido restarle dulzura a una camisa muy femenina usándola en un look más urbano, con mis nuevos tejanos favoritos y unos botines. ¿Qué lleváis para estos días de tiempo loco?

Pastels street

An autumn look in dark colours for a cinema afternoon; skinny jeans, a special DIY t-shirt, a pair of pumps and my new mini bag. Simple but effective. I customized the t-shirt that same day and couldn't wait to wear it. In the morning I went to a haberdashery outlet store in my town and went crazy buying fringes in differenet colours and sizes (impossible choosing only one!), so probably, you'll see some DIY with fringes on the blog. I'll try to control myself and not bore you with them...hahaha.  Anyway, do you like the result? It's very easy, and I took pictures of the procedure, so I'll show you all the steps in a brief tutorial soon. Have a nice week!

Un look otoñal en colores oscuros para una tarde en el cine; pitillos denim, una camiseta especial DIY, un par de bonitos zapato> y mi nuevo mini bolso. Simple pero efectivo. Customicé la camiseta ese mismo día y no pudo esperar a ponérmela. Esa misma mañana estuve en una mercería que estaban de liquidación y me volví loca comprando flecos de todos los colores y medidas (¡imposible escoger un solo modelo!), así que probablemente haya DIYs de flecos para rato. Espero no ser pesada con ellos y no aburridos...jajaja. Entonces, ¿os gusta el resultado? Es sencillo e hice fotos del proceso, así que pronto os traigo un breve tutorial para que podáis hacer la vuestra. ¡Disfrutad de la semana!

Short suit

I have to admit that I've never been a fan of blazers, I like to see them on others, but I don't like how they fit me. I have only one in my wardrobe, the one on the pictures, and I can count the times I've worn it with one hand. This weekend I wanted to give it a chance and tried how it paired with a dark blue high-waisted shorts and a striped croptop. I must say that I love it because the shorts and the top make the look less serious, but still the right "dressep-up" I was looking for. And the thing is that I feel totally comfortable in this style. Often, some risk on wearing garments we are not very used to results in a great option. What do you thing? Have a nice week!

He de admitir que nunca he sido de americanas. Me gusta verlas en otras, pero no me gusta cómo me veo yo con ellas. Sólo tengo una en mi armario, la de las fotos, y puedo contar con una mano las veces que me la he puesto. Este fin de semana decidí darle una nueva oportunidad combinándola con unos shorts de tiro alto en azul oscuro, un croptop de rayas y mis sandalias favoritas. Debo decir que me encanta el resultado ya que las otras prendas hacen que el conjunto sea menos serio, pero aún así con el toque "arregladito" que yo buscaba. Y lo mejor es que me siento muy cómoda con este estilo. A menudo, cuando arriesgamos con esas prendas a las que no estamos habituadas, nos damos cuenta que acaban resultando en una buena opción siempre que las adaptemos a nuestro estilo. ¿Qué opináis? ¡Que tengáis una maravillosa semana!

Tartan

Tartan is everywhere this season, but I've a fan of it for years, that's why I have some skirts and shirts of this print in my wardrobe; here you have a new one to my colection. I don't only love the print and the feminine pencil shape, also the texture of its fabric, so neoprene-like that adapts to the body shapes perfectly. This kind of print can be very grunge, but it can also be very school girl and lady, depending of how it is worn. This time I chose the sweet side of it, with a white embroidered blouse and my favourite sandals. Ready for a family lunch!

Estamos teniendo tartán hasta en la sopa, y eso que en frío aún no ha llegado y las colecciones de otoño-invierno se están haciendo esperar. Yo llevo años siendo una fan de este estampado y ya tenía varias faldas y camisas en mi armario; pero no me canso y aquí tenéis mi nueva adquisición. No sólo me gusta el tipo de cuadro y la forma tan femenina de la falda lápiz, sino también el tejido, que es muy similar al neopreno y se adapta perfectamente a la curvas del cuerpo. El tartán puede ser muy grunge o de colegiala y lady. Yo me decanté esta vez por la última vertiente, con una camisa blanca bordaba y mis sandalias favoritas. ¡Y así me fui directa a una comida familiar!

Embroidered

The dress has been hanging in my wardrobe for weeks, trying to find the moment to wear it and I realised that I really needn't a special moment to wear it, just the right accesories to feel in the mood of using it. It's very sweet, very babydoll and I love its embroidered flowers, but I wanted to "cut" this tenderness (yes, always looking for the "wear-it-casual"!) with the denim DIY vest, the tote bag and the studded boots.

Este vestido lleva colgado en el armario semanas intentando buscar la ocasión ideal para estrenarlo, hasta que me he dado cuenta de que no hay necesidad de buscar el momento de llevarlo, sino los accesorios que le van y hagan que me apetezca ponérmelo. Es muy dulce, muy aniñado y me encantan las flores bordadas del pecho, pero otra vez he ido en buscar de "cortar" esa delicadeza (sí, yo siempre en busca de el "llévalo-casual") con el chaleco DIY denim, el bolso grande y los botines de tachuelas. ¿Lo he conseguido? A mí, la verdad es que me convence mucho el resultado.
