Textured Mini Dress

Fluffy coats are everywhere right now. I've got mine for three winters and it is still a must have in my wardrobe, being the protagonist of many of my looks. Today I'm wearing it with a mini dress in a special fabric which is a mix of tweed and denim. Its shape is quite simple but really fetching and the texture makes it very original.

Los abrigos esponjosos de pelito están ahora en todas partes. Yo tengo el mío desde hace tres temporadas y sigue siendo una pieza clave en mi armario. Hoy lo llevo con un mini vestido de un tejido especial, una mezcla entre tweed y tejano. Su forma es bastante simple pero realmente favorecedora, además la textura lo hace muy original.

Hearts, knit and leather

Being cosy and warm in winter does not necessarily mean hiding inside layers and layers of clothes not feeling chic at all. Choosing the right fabrics and garments is essential. Wool, knits and leather are perfect for this season. I've used them in this outfit where the mix of textures and the volumes is what I like the most. The leather baggy pants, that you've seen here before, as well as the cardigan that I'm wearing as jumper, are versatile pieces that I've worn in many different ways. El ir calentitos y a gusto en invierno no significa necesariamente escondernos tras capas y capas de ropa que nos hacen sentirnos de todo menos con estilo. Saber escoger los tejidos y las prendas adecuadas es importante para que no nos pase eso. La lana, el punto y la piel son perfectos para esta época. Yo los he usado en este conjunto en el que la mezcla de texturas y el juego de volúmenes es lo que más me gusta. Tanto los pantalones, que ya habéis visto por aquí antes, como el cardigan que llevo a modo de jersey, son muy versátiles y me los he puesto de muchas maneras distintas. Houndstooth Midi Skirt

This houndstooth midi skirt is perfect to feel chic and comfy in cold winter days. By its own it can make a flawless look; the volume, lenght and print make it a special garment. A simple black turtleneck, my new booties and bag complete this outfit that I used this weekend for a brunch with my boy. How's your week going? Have a nice day!

Esta falda midi de pata de gallo es perfecta para sentirte chic y cómoda en los días fríos de invierno. Por sí sola es capaz de crear un look ideal; el volumen, el largo y el estampado la hacen una prenda muy especial. Un sencillo jersey de cuello alto, mis nuevos botines y bolso completan el conjunto que usé este fin de semana para ir a comer con mi chico. Quiero hacer especial mención al bolso de OEOE, diseñado y confeccionado en Barcelona, de piel suavísima de buena calidad. Big Fish

Once gain I dare to mix prints, this time in a bit crazy combo that I wore last Sunday for a walk around the Olympic Port in Barcelona. Stripes, plaid, flowers...is everything permitted? Sometimes it is just dare and find a combination that you like. How's your week going?

Nuevamente apuesto por mezclar estampados, esta vez una combinación un poco loca y juvenil que llevé el pasado domingo para dar un paseo por el puerto olímpico de Barcelona. Rayas, cuadros, flores...¿todo se vale? A veces es simplemente atreverse y dar con la combinación que nos guste. ¿Cómo lleváis la semana? Tawny

When sun shines I love to adapt spring/summer dressed to the winter season adding the right garments, as for example this camel coat in a special tawny brown and the studded hat. The dress is old but, every year, when good weather arrives, I use it again; I like its navy stripes. How has your week begun?

Aprovechando que hemos tenido unos días de sol, he rescatado del armario esos vestidos de primavera/verano que podemos adaptar a estas temperaturas añadiendo las prendas adecuadas, como por ejemplo este abrigo camel en un especial marrón tostado y el sombrero. El vestido tiene unos años ya, pero cada vez que llega el buen tiempo vuelvo a usarlo, me encantan sus atemporales rayas marineras. ¿Habéis empezado bien la semana?

Checkered jacket

This checkered jacket caught my eye instantly, I had been looking for a special one like this and I couldn't resist to make it mine. By its own, it makes a whole outfit; I wore it yesterday for a walk through Barcelona with a black and grey base. El Born quarter is one of my favourite places in the city and where we took these pictures. We spent the whole morning wandering the streets and having a brunch in a small cute restaurant- there are lots in the area.

Necesitaba una chaqueta especial en mi armario, de esas que solas forman un look. Así que, como buena amante de los cuadros, no me resistí al encontrar esta súper rebajada ya la estrené ya al día siguiente para dar un paseo por Barcelona; completaron el look prendas en negro y en gris y calzado cómodo para caminar y caminar. El barrio de El Born es uno de mis favoritos de la ciudad y ayer domingo pasamos la mañana paseando por sus calles y picoteando en barecitos encantadores, que los hay a montones por la zona. Parecía que iba a llover, pero al final cayeron cuatro gotas y acabó saliendo el sol; fue por la tarde, una vez ya en casa, cuando empezó a llover con ganas.

Be my Valentine

Valentine's day is just round the corner and hearts and romanticism has been following us these days. Today's look is what I wore last week for a romantic dinner; I wanted to feel comfy but without loosing feminity. This colourful jumpsuit was the piece in charge of giving the look the touch I was looking for. The chunky and warm cardigan "casualized" the whole outfit. Will you do something special tomorrow?

Con San Valentín a la vuelta de la esquina llevamos varios días con corazoncitos por todos lados y mucho romanticismo. El look de hoy lo llevé la semana pasada para una cena romántica, quería ir cómoda pero sin perder un ápice de feminidad y con algún toque especial. Este colorido mono fue la prenda encargada de dar ese punto que buscaba al conjunto, siendo el principal protagonista. The trench

A classic piece like a trench should be in every woman's wardrobe. I knew that, and I had this one in it for years since my sister gave it to me once she did a wardrobe cleaning. I had the trench, but I wasn't paying any attention to it. It was just in my mind as a great canvas to create a nice DIY. Don't know why, this weekend I tried it on and I realised that it was going to be my new friend . How can this change! I'm glad for this re-discovery, for me it's a new garment and maybe I'll rethink the DIY I had in mind for it. Have a great Monday!

Una pieza clásica como una gabardina debería de formar parte del armario de toda mujer. Eso lo sabía, y justo tenía éste guardado desde que mi hermana me lo dio en una de sus limpiezas de armario. Tenía la pieza, pero no le estaba haciendo el más mínimo caso. Sólo la tenía en mente como un magnífico lienzo donde experimentar con uno de mis DIY. NO sé porque, este fin de semana me dio por probármela y me he dado cuenta que ya tengo una nueva amiga: la gabardina. ¡Cómo pueden cambiar las cosas según como una tenga el día! Estoy encantada con este re-descubrimiento que es para mi como contar con una prenda nueva y, además, quizás repienso ese DIY que tenía en mente. ¡Buen lunes!

Multi print

The mix of print it's being a trend for some seasons, it's called mix and match. Personally, if it's well done, I love it. Of course, there are impossible mixes, but there are others with an original and attractive result. Sometimes it just consists in taking some risk, mixing and see how it works. Today's dress has a multiprint and this is, mainly, what attracted me when purchasing. And it was a bargain as well. Do you like it? I'm looking forwar to the good weather and wearing it bare legged. La mezcla de estampados, o mix and match, es una tendencia que llevamos viendo hace unas temporadas. Personalmente, si se hace bien, me encanta. Hay mezclas imposible, es verdad, pero las hay que dan un resultado original y muy atractivo. A veces es atreverse a mezclar y ver cómo queda. El vestido del look de hoy ya tiene este multiestampado en su tejido y es lo que más me atrajo a la hora de hacerme con él. Además, fue toda una ganga. ¿Os gusta? Plaid high-waisted

Yesterday morning we went for a brunch. I love those moments when we enjoy just being relaxed, sitting in some nice bar, eating delicious food and talking about lots of things. We plan trips, think of new projects, dream about tones of ideas we have in mind... The truth is that time always goes by so quickly and when we look at the watch we realise that we should have been leaving before, we have still lots of things to do. I wore a new pair of high-waisted neoprene shorts and a baby blue shirt full of small dots. What do you wear for a Sunday morning?

Ayer domingo por la mañana nos fuimos de tapeo. Me encantan esos momentos en los que disfrutamos de estar tranquilos, sentados en algún bar, picando algo rico y hablando de muchas cosas. Hacemos planes, ideamos proyectos, pensamos en futuros viajes... La verdad es que el tiempo siempre se nos acaba pasando volando y cuando se nos ocurre mirar el reloj nos damos cuenta que hace rato que deberíamos de estar volviendo a casa, que hay cosas que hacer. Para ello, estrené shorts de neopreno que me encantan por tener la cintura tan alta que estiliza. La camisa azul bebé también es nueva y está llena de topitos chiquitines, que no se aprecian bien en las fotos. Y vosotras, ¿qué os ponéis para una mañana de domingo?

Pom-pom beanie

I start this week with lots of energy, after a great weekend that has passed by so quickly. I think today's pictures reflect the fun I had while shooting them; with a look I feel super comfy with. A big cosy jumper, a casual backpack and a funny pom-pom beanie. I never get tired of adding new jumper to my collection (I love them!) and this one has a great shape and print, and it's so warm. Empiezo la semana com mucha energía tras un fin de semana que ha sido genial pero que se ha pasado volando. Creo que las fotos de hoy reflejan lo bien que lo pasamos haciéndolas; con un look con el que me siento muy cómoda. Un jersey grandote, una mochila casual y un divertido gorrito con pompón incluido. Nunca me canso de añadir nuevos jerséis a mi colección, nunca son demasiados para un friolera como yo. Oxfords and skirt

I must say I hate Mondays, but, who really loves them? I hate waking up early, rushing all day and having few time (or none) for myself. But weekend is over and, while waiting the next one, I show you an easy look I wore some days ago, one of those that you "create" just taking the first things you see in the wardrobe just having on mind that you need comfort and simplicity. My beloved oxfords are, once more, the main characters of the look; whenever I wear them, they gain all the attention, and they are soooo comfy... Have a nice week!

Confieso que odio los lunes, pero ¿realmente a alguien le gustan? Odio madrugar, ir de boli todo el día y no tener nada de tiempo para mí. Pero el fin de semana se nos ha ido volando y, mientras esperamos al siguiente, os enseño un look fácil que llegué hace unos días; uno de esos que creas cogiendo las primeras piezas que pillas del armario, solo pensando en comodidad y simpleza. Preppy bows

After this short Christmas holidays break, I come back with energy and lots new projects and resolutions for this new year that has just began. Looking back to what 2013 was I will always remember it as an important year in mi life, with lots of changes, great experiences and personal growth; I was living abroad for some months, I met lovely people, I learnt and enjoyed a lot,... Exactly today, one year ago we were flying to UK to spend the most amazing 6 months in my life. Whenever this memories come to my mind I smile. I hope this new year brings me, at least, the same happiness last year gave me; and I have the feeling that 2014 is going to be wonderful. So, happy New Year to you all!

Después de esta corta pausa por Navidades, vengo con las pilas cargadas y muchos proyectos y propósitos para este nuevo año que justo acaba de dar el pistoletazo de salida. Echando la vista atrás y haciendo un balance de lo que fue el 2013, siempre lo recordaré como uno de los años más importantes de mi vida, con muchos cambios, experiencias enriquecedoras y crecimiento personal; viví en el extranjero unos cuantos meses, conocí gente maravillosa, aprendí y disfruté muchísimo,... Exactamente hoy hace un año, estábamos volando hacia el Reino Unido a pasar los más fantásticos 6 meses de mi vida. Cada vez que me acuerdo de alguna cosa de esa pequeña-gran aventura que vivimos no puedo evitar sonreír. Espero que este año nuevo me traiga, al menos, la misma felicidad que me trajo el anterior; y la verdad es que tengo el presentimiento de que este 2014 muchas cosas buenas van a pasar. Así que...¡Feliz año nuevo!

Girlish in Titis Clothing

The blog has a new design, a new image we have been working on for months and have finally been able to implement. We were looking for a fresh, minimalist look and we are totally proud of what we have finally achieved; it is just what we wanted. Do you like it? And talking about today's look, I am wearing a babydoll dress by Titis Clothing, a brand that I like a lot and has a very girlish style.

El blog tiene nuevo diseño, una nueva imagen en la que hemos estado trabajando durante meses y que finalmente hemos podido "lanzar". Buscábamos una estética minimalista y fresca y estamos muy contentos con el resultado, ya que después de tanto trabajo hemos conseguido exactamente lo que buscábamos. Aún quedan algunas cosillas por acabar de pulir, pero en unos días estará todo listo. ¿Os gusta? Y hablando del look de hoy, llevo un aniñado vestido de Titis Clothing, una marca española, nacida en Murcia, que tiene un estilo muy femenino y naïf. Plaid and wine

Tonight is Christmas Eve and I wish you all a happy time with the people you love; Merry Christmas! I'm now enjoying holidays for two weeks, we are not going out but what I need is just relaxing and spend my time doing the things I'm not able to do while working; walking, shopping, meeting friends, drawing, DIYing...This warm look is what I wore for a brunch with my boy some days ago. As you can see the combo coat+jeans+beanie is one of my favourites; it's easy, comfy and cool. Do you use this kind of combination?

Hoy es Noche Buena, os mando un gran abrazo y el deseo que que paséis unos días de navidad muy buenos rodeados de la gente que queréis. Yo voy a estar unas dos semanas de vacaciones, así que voy a provechar para relajarme y hacer todas esas cosas que no puedo hacer en período de trabajo: pasear, ir de comprar, quedar con amigos, dibujar, DIYear... Este look calentito lo llevé hace un par de días para un picoteo con mi chico. Como veis, el combo abrigo+jeans+gorrito es uno de mis favoritos; es fácil, cómodo y cool. Además, los zapatos de tacón y el maxi-bolso le dan el toque chic al look ¿Usáis mucho este tipo de combinación?
