DIY shorts: the look

A pesar de que hayamos tenido un domingo pasado por agua (¡vaya chaparrón está cayendo ahora, mientras escribo este post!), el buen tiempo ya está aquí, con sus locuras, eso sí. Tenía ya ganas de estrenar mis shorts DIY (tutorial aquí), así que, aprovechando el sol radiante de estos días atrás, los saqué del armario a dar un paseo. Una camisa en color crudo, sandalias planas y un maxi bolso hacían el resto. El bolso es de los más cómodos que he tenido y además cabe de todo, yo que soy de llevarlo hasta arriba de cosas. Un look romántico y sencillo con el que me siento muy a gusto y que es ideal para ir diciendo hola al verano. Aish, qué ganas tengo de acabar ya los trabajos de la universidad e irme a la playita. ¡Este año aún no la he pisado!

Today a romantic and simple look with my DIY shorts (tutorial here) worn with a nude shirt, flat sandals and a maxi bag. Although now it's pouring outside, last days the weather has been warm and sunny, so this kind of looks are ideal to say hello to summer. I'm just thinking of finishing my University projects and go to beach, I haven't seen it yet this year!

Flowers on my legs

Los pantalones de flores se han convertido en todo un MUST esta temporada. Llevaba tiempo en la búsqueda de unos perfectos para mí y cuando di con estos supe que eran los ideales. Cintura alta, pitillos y llenos de florecitas pequeñas. Cuando miro hacia abajo y veo mis piernas llenas de flores parece que esté en un jardín:) Me encantan!! Quedan ideales con un simple top blanco, para dejarles todo el protagonismo. El bolso le da otro punto de color al look. Me llegó la semana pasada y ya me lo he puesto varias veces. Me he vuelvo una obsesa del amarillo, en pocas semanas varias prendas y accesorios de este color han entrado en mi armario, voy a tener que controlarme. 

Flowered pants, one of the MUST garments this season. I've been looking for the perfect ones for me for a while and when I saw these I knew they were the ones. High waisted, skinnies and with a lot of little flowers. I feel like being in a garden when I look down at my legs:) They look amazing just with a simple white top. The bag arrived home last week and I've been using it a lot. I love its colour. I have to stop buying yellow garments. I think I'm getting obsessed with it!

Oh La La !

Sí, vuelvo a las rayas. ¡Me requete chiflan! Una camiseta marinera y una faldita de vuelo es el uniforme ideal para una tarde de domingo veraniega. La falda me llegó la semana pasada a casa y no he tardado nada en estrenarla. Tiene un vuelo precioso y el color es muy favorecedor, unos labios rojos para ir a conjunto y voilà! lista para salir a disfrutar del sol tan estupendo que estamos teniendo estos días. Me encanta el aire afrancesado del look. Ya estamos en la recta final del curso y estas últimas semanas están siendo duras, pero pensar que el verano está a la vuelta de la esquina le sube a una los ánimos y le da fuerzas para este último tirón.

Yes, striped again. I love them! A navy top and a flared skirt is the ideal uniform for a summer Sunday afternoon. The skirt arrived home last week and I couldn't wait to use it. Its shape and colour are fantastic and together with red lips, voilà!, perfect to go out to enjoy the sun. University year is arriving to its end and these final weeks are being so stressful. But, thinking that summer is around the corner makes it easier :)
