Wide jumper

Otro jersey anchote vuelve a aparecer hoy por aquí. Éste me parece especialmente original, ya que no tiene las típicas rayas, sino que está hecho de una tejido multicolor y con algunos hilos en plata que le aportan un toque muy divertido. Os puedo asegurar que ya me han preguntado por él varias veces, es de esas prendas que gustan. Este tipo de look de pitillos + jersey es de los que más tiro para ir a la universidad cada día. 

Another wide jumper on today's look. This one is very special, its stripes are not the typical ones. They are made of multicoloured threads giving the garment a fun touch. Everybody asks me about it when I wear it. This kind of comfy looks of jumper + skinnies is like my everyday uniform to go to university.

Hay días en los que me apetece tirar del negro para vestirme, me parece uno de esos colores que te puede sacar de más de un apuro, es un colore elegante, pero además, según cómo lo lleves, puede tener ese puntillo rockero que me encanta. Esta vez, he restado formalidad al look con una jersey amplio. Me encanta este tipo de jerseys anchotes y creo que combinados con minis como ésta, le dan un aire especial con conjunto. 

There are days that I like to wear a lot of black on me. It is one of those colours that easy make a nice look, it is elegant and depending on how you use it, it can have a rocky touch that I love. This time, I decided to play down the formality of the look with a loose wide jumper. I love this kind of jumpers!

Con la nueva temporada recién estrenada (porque sí, es ahora cuando viene el fresquito y vamos haciendo el cambio de armario) parece que vienen los eventos y las presentaciones. La semana pasada estuve con Laura en la presentación de la nueva colección para esta temporada de la marca italiana PINKO que tuvo lugar en su preciosa tienda de Avinguda Diagonal de Barcelona. Buena música, buen ambiente y mucha ropa bonita. Pero como una imagen vale más que mil palabras, aquí os dejo unas fotos.

With the entrance of the new season, events and presentations are taking place. Last week I went with Laura to PINKO's new collection presentacion, in their amazing store in Avinguda Diagonal in Barcelona. Good music, good atmosphere and lots of nice clothing. A picture is worth a thousand words, so there you have some of them.

Last weekend

Este fin de semana ha sido para desconectar del mundo y estar rodeados de naturaleza y amigos. Un par de veces al año nos gusta irnos todos juntos a una casa rural perdida en medio de la montaña. Esta vez ha tocado ir a "La Casica", situada en Sant Hilari de Sacalm, Girona. 

I spent last weekend with some friend in a rural house called La Casica, lost in the middle of nowhere. Twice a year we like to spend a weekend this way, totally disconnected from the rest of the world, enjoying and resting.

IKKS Pure Edition

IKKS está de aniversario, la marca cumple 25 años. El pasado mes de septiembre tuve la oportunidad de conocer un poquito más de cerca la marca en su preciosa y cuidada boutique de Rambla Cataluña en Barcelona. Esta temporada IKKS ha ampliado su ya gran colección femenina, con una nueva línea, IKKS Pure Edition. Una línea para una mujer urbana y sofisticada a la vez, prendas con siluetas estructuradas, puras y refinadas, en tonos sobrios y con algún que otro estampado, siempre en clave minimalista. Además de esta línea, IKKS cuenta con otras para la mujer, como son IKKS Women y I. Code. IKKS Women define a una mujer con un estilo urbano y casual. La línea I.Code tiene un espíritu joven y trendy con un cierto aire retro chic, con inspiraciones vintage.

Lips in red & dress in brown

Cuando vi este vestido en la web de Romwe no lo dudé ni un momento, tenía que ser mío. Y una vez me ha llegado a casa estoy muy contenta con mi adquisición. Es perfecto y comodísimo. Una prenda de esas que ponerte esos días por la mañana que no sabes qué escoger, porque te sacará de cualquier apuro e irás estupenda simplemente con él y poco más.

When I saw this dress in Romwe's website I have no doubt, it had to be mine. When it arrived home it was even better than I imagined, I'm so glad of my purchase. It is perfect and comfortable. One of these garments to wear on days we don't know what to wear, it will solve our problem instantly because, by itself, it makes a nice look.

My printed pants

No he tardado nada en estrenarlos, el mismo día que los acabé me los puse. Ya visteis en el post de ayer lo sencillo que es pintarlos y como veis  el resultado es ideal. Por lo menos a mí me encanta. Ellos por sí solos ya destacan, así que con un jersey de tonos neutros, unos botines y un maxibolso, ideales para el día a tía.  Para la noche, con una camisa negra o blanca semitransparente y unos taconazos...y  lucir palmito:)

The same day I finished my DIY trousers I wore them. In yesterday's post you could see how easy it is to paint your jeans and, as you can see in today's look, the result is ideal. I really love them. They don't need too much, they are the main character of the look. I wore them with a simple jumper, boots and a XL bag for a daily look. At night, they match perfectly with a sheer white or black shirt and high heels.

Como ya anunciaba en Facebook, este fin de semana me he puesto manos a la obra con un nuevo DIY, el que os traigo hoy. Llevaba tiempo queriendo pintarme unos pantalones largos y el otro día encontré estos tejanos viejos y decidí que ellos iban a ser los elegidos. La verdad es que me costó decidir qué hacerles. Tenía unas cuantas ideas en la cabeza. Acabé decidiéndome por pintar una especie de estampado animal por toda la prenda. El resultado la verdad es que me gustó y el proceso es bastante sencillito, aunque, como siempre, la paciencia es esencial para este tipo de proyectos, ya que al haber de pintar todo en pantalón tardas un rato. 

As I announced of Facebook, this weekend I've been DIYing. Today you have the tutorial. I 've been to paint some pants for a while, and when I found these jeans in my closet I knew this was the opportunity to do it. It was difficult for me to decide what to paint. I had different ideas, but finally I decided to cover my jeans with some sort of animal print. I really like the result and the process is pretty easy.

Empezamos dando pinceladas cortas en el tomo más clarito y luego, una vez esté seco o semi-seco, vamos aplicando las pinceladas con la pintura más oscura, hasta cubrir bastante el pantalón, para que se vea bien repleto de pequeñas manchas. 

Start applying small brushstrokes all over the garment with the lightest paint, when it is dry or almost dry, apply the darkest paint until covering quite part of the fabric. It has to be all covered with small spots. 

Una vez la pintura esté seca, hay que plancharla. El calor hace que la pintura se adhiera a la tela y no se vaya al lavarla. Y ahora, ya está, ya tenéis vuestros tejanos con estampado animal listos para llevarlos!

Once the paint is dry, you have to iron it. The heat fixes the paint to the fabric and it won't leave when you wash it. Now your animal print jeans are ready to be worn! 

El resultado queda muy bien, y puestos quedan muy originales. En este post tenéis un look completo con ellos, para haceros algunas idea de cómo llevarlos. Ya véis que es un proceso fácil. Ya me diréis si os animáis.

Cristals jumpsuit

Hoy creo que os traigo posiblemente uno de mis últimos looks con las piernas al aire, esperemos que no sea el último, porque eso quiere decir que el tiempo va a cambiar y yo de momento, como habéis visto en otros posts, me he resistido a enfundarme las medias. Pero creo que esto se acaba y las temperaturas ya van a empezar a bajar, como es normal. Además, creo que este mono no lucirá igual en invierno, así que había que aprovechar para sacarle partido así. El atípico estampado de cristales y las tonalidades de éste lo hacen muy especial, muy otoñal. Ya veis que soy adicta a los botines, unos u otros, pero no me los quito.  

Weather is starting to change and maybe this is gonna be one of my last bare-legged looks. I think with nice jumpsuit won't look the same with tights, that's why I wanted to use it now the weather still permits me to wear it this way. The cristals print and its tones make it very especial, very autumnal.

Me encantan las piezas de cuero. En las tiendas, siempre he veo alguna, voy directa a ella. Me llaman muchísimo la atención. Por suerte, este temporada también tenemos muchos prendas de cuero por todos lados...y este top ha sido la primera en caer. Me gusta la forma y el color, además de que vaya lleve combinación de tejidos. Creo que por si sólo ya destaca bastante, es muy minimal pero muy especial, por lo que necesita poco para crear un look especial. Lo he estrenado con otra de mis nuevas compras, estos pitillos con tejido barroco que me encantan, quedan como un guante y el detalle de las cremalleras doradas traseras me gusta mucho. A todo esto le añadimos un collar XL, y ya tenemos el look. ¿Qué os parece?Yo lo veo ideal para cualquier momento.

I love leather! Every time I go shopping my eyes go directly to leather garments, they catch my attention immediately. Luckily, this season there's a lot of leather in the shops; this top has been my purchase this fall. I like its colour and mix of textures. I think is it very minimal and easy to wear but very special too, because it can be the main piece of a great look. I've worn it for the first time with another of my recent purchases, these barroque skinnies, they are wonderful and adapt perfectly to the body. Love them! I've just added a XL necklace and there's the look. Do you like it? I think it's ideal for everything.
