Neoprene

Neoprene is one of the materials of the season, a lot of dresses and skirts in shops are made of it. I really like it because it is ideal to create volumen on garments and it also adapts very good to the shape of the body. Today's dress is made of it and not just the material was what caught my eye, also the floral print in browns, perfect for fall. ¡Enjoy Halloween!

El neopreno es uno de los tejidos de esta temporada; lo podemos encontrar en multitud de prendas en las tiendas actualmente. Realmente me gusta mucho, ya que ayuda a crear volúmenes preciosos en las piezas y también es un material que se adapta y ajusta perfectamente a las formas del cuerpo. El vestido de hoy es de neopreno y no sólo me llamó la atención el material del que estaba hecho, sino también el precioso estampado en marrones, que tanto me gusta para el otoño. ¡Disfrutad del puente!

Tartan

Tartan is everywhere this season, but I've a fan of it for years, that's why I have some skirts and shirts of this print in my wardrobe; here you have a new one to my colection. I don't only love the print and the feminine pencil shape, also the texture of its fabric, so neoprene-like that adapts to the body shapes perfectly. This kind of print can be very grunge, but it can also be very school girl and lady, depending of how it is worn. This time I chose the sweet side of it, with a white embroidered blouse and my favourite sandals. Ready for a family lunch!

Estamos teniendo tartán hasta en la sopa, y eso que en frío aún no ha llegado y las colecciones de otoño-invierno se están haciendo esperar. Yo llevo años siendo una fan de este estampado y ya tenía varias faldas y camisas en mi armario; pero no me canso y aquí tenéis mi nueva adquisición. No sólo me gusta el tipo de cuadro y la forma tan femenina de la falda lápiz, sino también el tejido, que es muy similar al neopreno y se adapta perfectamente a la curvas del cuerpo. El tartán puede ser muy grunge o de colegiala y lady. Yo me decanté esta vez por la última vertiente, con una camisa blanca bordaba y mis sandalias favoritas. ¡Y así me fui directa a una comida familiar!

Watercolours

Summer is quickly saying bye bye and I am trying to take the best of these last days of hot weather and go bare legged now, because my legs won't see the sun and air for months. Today's combination is similar to one I showed youo last week, jumpsuit + denim. Jumpsuits have been an essential for me; they are very versatile and with just one piece you are almost completely dressed. This one has a silky touch and I loved the big V crossed neck with the ribbon and the amazing watercoloured print in blues.

El verano va dando sus últimos coletazos y estoy intentando sacar el máximo de estos úñtimos días de calor e ir con las piernas al aire, que ya les tocará estar sin ver el sol durante meses. La combinación de hoy es parecida una de las que os enseñé la semana pasada de mono+denim. Los monos han sido una prenda imprescindible para mí este verano; con una sola prenda ya vas casi vestida de arriba a abajo y además es muy versátil. Éste tiene tacto sedoso y me encantó el gran cuello en V cruzado y el maravilloso estampado acuarelado en azules.

Wear it casual

I saw this dress hanging on the shop and got caught by its gorgeous print of big flowers and bright colours. I thought that the shape of it was too smart for my style, but I wanted to give it a change and tried it on using a belt to accentuate the waist. I loved it. Besides, to wear it on the street, I added some special accessories like the bag, the lace-up boots and the bracelets to make it more mine, more casual. Do you like it? Have a very nice week!

Vi este vestido colgado en la tienda y llamó mi atención su precioso estampado de grandes flores y colores llamativos. Pensé que la forma era demasiado "elegante" para mi estilo, pero quise darle una oportunidad y me lo probé con un cinturón con el que ajustar la cintura y darle otro aire. Me encantó. Además, cuando me lo puse por primera vez, añadí unos complementos más cañeros, como el bolso, los botines acordonados y las pulseras, para hacerlo más mío, más casual. ¿Os gusta como lo he adaptado a mi estilo? ¿Que tengáis una muy buena semana!

This chambray skirt has been a summer essential in my wardrobe for some years and I like it even more as time goes by. It's casual, but has the special feature of the big frontal pockets that I love. For a summer afternoon walk I combined it with this beautiful blouse my Silvia Balmaseda in coral and added some more colour with a statement necklace. 

Esta falda en chambray ha sido una pieza esencial en mi armario desde que la compré hace unos años y me gusta aún más cada temporada. Es casual, pero tiene la característica especial de los grandes bolsillos frontales que me encanta. Para una tarde de paseo la combiné con este preciosa blusa en coral de Silvia Balmaseda y añadí aún un poco más de color con un collar llamativo.

Babydoll

I received these high waisted shorts some days ago and I already know that they are going to be one of my favourite pieces this summer. I love their embroidered roses, the wash of the denim and, of course, their amazing shape. I was feeling very girlish the day we took the pictures and I wanted a babydoll style for this look; white shirt with a big Peter Pan collar, braided hair with a sweet bow and my new lovely ♡ Chie Mihara sandals. They are not only super beautiful, they are very comfy and adapt perfectly to my feet. 

Recibí hace sólo unos días estos shorts de tiro alto y enseguida supe que iban a ser una de mis prefas preferidas para este verano. Me encanta el bordado de rosas, el lavado del denim y, por supuesto, el corte. Este día me sentía con ganas de algo más aniñado, así que aposté por un estilo babydoll: una sencilla camisa con un gran cuello Peter Pan, el pelo en una trenza rematada con un llamativo lazo rojo y mis nuevas y adorables ♡ sandalias Chie Mihara que me tienen enamorada. No sólo son preciosas, sino que también son comodísimas y se adaptan a la perfección a mis pies.

Mustard and retro

Some days ago I met the lovely Silvia Balmaseda, who after studying architecture realised that fashion was what she wanted to do. It only took me a morning breakfast to know what an artist this young designer is and the passion she puts into doing things; besides, she's so sweet and kind. One of the best things of having a blogs is to know wonderful people and she's one of them. After seeing some of her designs, I arrived home with some of my favourites that you're going to see on the blog in the next weeks. The first one is this mustard blouse with a vintage touch. I wasn't only attracted by its colour, also by the fitted shape and the neck lapels. Beautiful, don't you think?   

Hace unos días conocí a la encantadora Silvia Balmaseda, quien tras estudiar arquitectura se dio cuenta que lo suyo era la moda. Me bastó una mañana desayunando con esta joven diseñadora para saber lo artista que es y la pasión con la que hace las cosas; además es dulce y muy agradable. Una de las cosas buenas del blog es conocer a gente maravillosa, y Silvia es una de esas personas. Tras ver algunas de las piezas que ha creado, me traje a casa algunas de ellas que vais a ir viendo por el blog. La primera es esta blusa mostaza con cierto aire vintage. No solo me atrajo mucho el color, sino el corte ajustado y el cuello solapa. Preciosa, ¿no creéis?

Japanese flowers and birds

Jumpsuits are one of the comfiest garments I know, just one piece to dress you all. Mine is a new season item, my eyes went directly to it in the shop, in the tidy corner; all the sale part is a mess these days and it's not very attractive, so eyes always go to new collection. The Japanese print was what caught me; in bright colours and with beautiful flowers and birds, but when I saw the amazing back I finally fell in love. I wore it with flat sandals and a big basket for a relaxed look, but with high heels and a mini bag it is also ideal for a summer night. What do you think?

Los monos son una de las prendas más cómodas que conozco, en una sola pieza vamos vestidas enteras y bien fresquitas. El mío es de nueva temporada, mis ojos fueron directamente a él en la tienda y es que viendo el rinconcito ordenado entre tanto desorden rebajil, es difícil no resistirse a tirar para esa esquina más atractiva de la tienda. Lo que más llamó mi atención fue el estampado japonés de flores y pájaros en colores vivos, pero fue ver la maravillosa espalda descubierta que tiene y caer rendida. Lo estrené con sandalias planas y un cesto grande para un look relajado, pero con unos taconazos y un mini bolso es ideal para una noche de verano. ¿Qué os parece?
