Barcelona street style

This was my street style for a day walking the city of Barcelona. Comfort is one of my priorities when dressing and this look reflects it. However, this doesn't mean giving up style and this look is a good example of it. All the garments are special by their own and also make a great team together. The oversize white T-shirt is the perfect basic to combine with everything and create nice volumes. The leather baggy pants are one of my favourites and have appeared on the blog many times, I'm loving them and their feminine-masculine vibes. A new piece in my wardrobe is this bicolour backpack with navy style rope. And the shoes...what can I say about them? I'm in love with them and are ideal to be worn with everything. La comodidad es una de mis prioridades a la hora de vestir y este look es reflejo de ello. Sin embargo, eso no significa renunciar al estilo. Todas las piezas del look me parecen especiales por separado y hacen a la vez un combo perfecto. La camiseta blanca oversize es un básico comodín perfecto y es que me encanta que una prenda tan simple sea tan ideal y ayude a crear bonitos volúmenes según cómo se lleve. Los pantalones baggy de polipiel de talle alto ya lo habéis visto por aquí más veces y los seguiréis viendo, ¡los adoro!; sientan de lujo, acentúan la cintura y tienen un rollito entre femenino y masculino que me encanta. La mochila bicolor es una pieza nueva en mi armario y va a acompañarme mucho este verano; es cómoda, original y me gusta mucho su cuerda gruesa de cuero de estilo marinero. Y los zapatos...¿qué más deciros de los zapatos? pues que me rechiflan y me los pongo con todo. ¿Qué os parece este tipo de looks casual-chic?

Overalls street style

Overalls are one of those perfect garments for this crazy spring time. They are cool and playful, offering many possibilities. Denim overalls are the most seen, but I've opted for a khaki one. This time, worn with a bright flowered sheer blouse for a super feminie style. Do you like it? How do you wear your overalls?

Los petos son una de esas prendas perfectas para estos días locos del entretiempo. Son estilosos y versátiles, dando posibilidad al juego. En versión denim los hemos visto mucho, aunque to me he decantado por uno en color khaki, llevándolo esta vez con una blusa vaporosa con alegre estampado floral. How to wear carrot pants

Loving my khaki carrot pants! Khaki is a colour that season after season appears, sometimes associated to military vibes but also to a safari style. It combines with many colours and specially like how it matches with reds and mustards. What I like the most about my new brand trousers is their carrot shape. But, what are really carrot pants? Normally they are tight and high at the waist, wider at the hips/top and tapered toward the bottom. They create a very feminine silhouette, accentuating the waist. The flatform sandals are new in my closet too and are a design by Meraki, a new shoe brand in Barcelona that for sure will be a total success, because they have contemporary fresh designs to dress our feet. Do you like this kind of pants?

¡Me encantan mis pantalones khaki de corte zanahoria! El color khaki aparece temporada tras temporada, muchas veces asociado al estilo militar, pero también a uno más de safari. Combina con muchos colores y me gusta especialmente como casa con los rojos y los mostazas. Además del color, lo que más le gusta de mis nuevos pantalones es su forma de zanahoria. Pero, ¿qué son realmente los pantalones carrot? Normalmente tienen talle alto, ajustados a la cintura y más ancho en la zona de las caderas y van ajustándose hacia abajo, creando una silueta muy femenina. Para llevarlos, mejor tops por dentro o cortitos, para que se vea bien la forma de la cintura y la cadera. Por otro lado, las sandalias, que son también nueva adquisición, son un diseño de Meraki, marca de calzado barcelonesa que he descubierto recientemente y me encanta por sus piezas actuales, frescas y de líneas minimalistas. ¿Os gusta ese tipo de pantalones?

The long shirt

How flattering can be a fluid long shirt like this! I love how it dances while I'm walking and the fabric floats. In this look I'm wearing it open, as an over-shirt, with basics and my new favourite shoes. It can also be worn as a dress or as a shirt in many other ways. I have many looks in mind with it, you'll see them.

¡Qué favorecedora puede llegar a ser una fluida camisa larga como ésta! Me encanta como baila y flota en el aire mientras camino. En las fotos de hoy las llevo a modo de sobrecamisa, abierta encima de un look formado por básicos y mis nuevos zapatos que adoro. También se puede llevar a mdo de vestido o camisa cerrada de muchos otros modos que tengo en mente y que os iré enseñando.

Sixtyseven shoes

The ones who visit my blog regularly know that I'm a fan of masculine shoes. I'm never bored of them and a new pair is always welcome. These cut out bluchers with chunky sole by Sixtyseven shoes are the new apple of my eye. The whole look is comfortable and easy, for a lunch date with my boy and a walk around Barcelona old streets; rolled up pants, message T-shirt and neoprene jacket in contrast. The shoes catch all the attention.

Quienes visitáis mi blog de forma regular sabéis que soy una autentica fan de los zapatos masculinos. Nunca me canso de ellos y un nuevo par es siempre bienvenido. Estos de piel perforada en blanco y con suela dentada son la nueva niña de mis ojos. Me encanta ese tipo de suela más cañera, más basta y con personalidad. El look no tiene ninguna complicación y es comodísimo, para salir a comer fuera con mi chico y pasear por las callecitas viejas de Barcelona: pantalones con vuelta en el bajo, camiseta con mensaje y chaqueta de neopreno en contraste. Los zapatos se llevan todo el protagonismo.

Asics Tiger

It's incredible how a pair of shoes can change a whole look. This time, I'm wearing my new brand Asics Tiger sneakers and they give a total different style to an outfit that, worn with pumps could be sofisticated, and with them looks sport chic. We tend to be scared to add this kind of footwear to our everyday looks, setting it aside just for the gym. The thing is that I love how they feel in streetstyle. For a comfy morning I paired them with one of my favourite leather pants and and a semitranspared top. How do you wear your sneakers?

Es increíble como los zapatos que escojamos pueden cambiar por completo un look. Esta vez llevo mis nuevas zapatillas Asics Tiger y aportar un estilo totalmente a un look que, de llevar unos taconazos sería más sofisticado, y con ellas tiene un puntillo sport chic que me encanta. Aún tendemos a asustarnos a llevar este tipo de calzado en nuestro día a día, por mucho que nos lo hayan enseñado en mil fotos de revistas y lookbooks de marcas, y lo relegamos al gimnasio. Sin embargo, me gusta mucho como sientan en el streetstyle. The denim dress

The denim dress is a girlish piece that can be worn from the beginning of spring all the way to the end of summer. The strap one I'm wearing today is very versatile and I couldn't wait for summer to wear it and have adapted it for the temperamental spring weather. I've given it a twist by being worn as a pinafore with a denim jacket over my shoulders and sneakers; it makes a comfortable casual look to walk the city all day. How do to style your denim dresses? Los vestidos tejanos son piezas femeninas que podemos llevar desde el principio de la primavera hasta finales de verano y bien entrado el otoño. El de tirantes que llevo hoy es bastante versátil y, cómo no podía esperarme al verano para llevarlo, lo he adaptado al temperamental tiempo primaveral. Le he dado un giro de estilo usándolo a modo de pichi con una camiseta fina debajo y la cazadora tejana sobre los hombros. Back to basics

This look is the clear example of how important basics are in a wardrobe. I have worn this camel turtleneck and the leather pants in many looks lately creating different styles. There's no need to have a big closet with lots of clothes, just having the right ones you can combine in a great range of ways is the essential. And don't get tired of these two pieces, because they'll appear on the blog more. Maybe, if spring arrives some day, the top will be left on the wardrobe till fall arrives again soon, but the leather pants and I will be good friends this spring. The element that adds a pop of colour here is the beautiful bag by PepaLoves, with the metal horse. Another garment that you'll see around many more times for sure. Have a great Tuesday!

Este look es un claro ejemplo de lo importante que son los básicos. He llevado este jerséis fino de cuello alto en camel y los pantalones de piel en varios looks creando estilos distintos. A pesar de lo que a veces creemos, no es necesario tener un súper armario lleno de ropa para ir con estilo y diferente cada día. Basta con tener los básicos adecuados y algunas piezas un poco más especiales para poder crear casi infinitas combinaciones de las que nunca nos cansaremos y nos sacarán de más de un apuro. Espero no os canséis de estas dos piezas porque seguirán apareciendo más por aquí, aunque espero que el top acabe pronto en el armario hasta el otoño que viene (¡a ver si llega ya la primavera!). Spring jacket

The key to bear with the temperamental spring weather, when one day is raining and the next is hot and sunny, is having the right outerwear. Lightweight jackets are the perfect friends to our spring looks. This kimono jacket, that I've worn in many ways this winter, is going to be a great piece this season in my wardrobe too. La clave para sobrellevar el alocado tiempo primaveral, en el que un día llueve y al otro sale un sol radiante, es hacerse con las chaquetas adecuadas. Camel and blue

I find camel a very cool colour that can instantly add style to a look. This simple camel turtleneck paired with one of my favourite skirts (there are many looks with it on the blog) make a flawless combo. The special piece in this look is the knit spring coat from ICHI. I'm tired of winter garments, but still need something to warm me up when cold hits, so it's perfect. I will keep on using it in spring, so you'll see other ways to wear this kind of pieces. Encuentro el color camel muy elegante y que añade estilo a cualquier look al instante. Este simple jérsey de cuello alto combinado con una de mis faldas preferidas en tonos similares hacen una combinación perfecta. La pieza más especial de este conjunto es el abrigo de punto primaveral de Ichi. Estoy ya un poco cansada de las prendas invernales, así que ésta me viene de lujo para resguardarme de frío como éste aprieta. A weekend in Amsterdam

48 hours in Amsterdam and tips to visit de city. In December I spent a weekend in the capital of the Netherlands. We prepared this short trip as a birthday surprise for some friends.

48 horas en Amsterdam y consejos para visitar la ciudad. A finales de año estuvimos un fin de semana en la capital holandesa como sorpresa de cumpleaños que preparamos a unos amigos. No había tenido tiempo de preparar el post hasta ahora, pero más vale tarde que nunca, así que os traigo una mini guía con mi experiencia y una selección de las muchas fotos que hicimos de la ciudad.

Black leather pants

A pair of black leather pants should be a basic in all girl's wardrobe. I already had ones in the form of leggings, but I wanted a more sophisticated pair. This model is the same as the white leather trousers I showed you last week. In both colours they are very playful and I'll show you different looks with them to see how different they can look depending the way they are worn. This time it's a casual comfy look with a horse-printed spring jumper and a plaid coat. You know I'm not afraid of mixing prints, so this time wasn't an exception. Un par de pantalones de piel negros deberían ser un básico en el armario de cualquier mujer. Yo ya tenía unos en forma de leggings, pero quería algo más sofisticado. Este modelo es el mismo par de pantalones en piel blanca que os enseñé la semana pasada. En ambos colores son piezas que dan mucho juego y podemos crear looks de estilos muy variado. No tengo un estilo definido, más bien ecléctico, me encanta divertirme con la moda y un día me apetece ir de un modo y otro totalmente distinta, así que este tipo de prendas le van genial a mi armario. White Leather Pants

The white leather pants have just arrived to my closet and were a bargain. When it comes to sales, I prefer making my visit to shops when they are ending and it's the time I find the best opportunities; I always come accross amazing garments. I liked the pants so much that I took them in two colours, white and black, so you'll see them around here soon too. I love how clean and stylish can be a look by mixing different shades of white and camel. We tend not to wear light outfits in winter, however, neutral light hues are always a good option no matter the season. It's easy to create a cool and timeless ensemble with them. What do you think about this look? Do you dare wearing whites in winter?

Estos pantalones blancos de piel han llegado hace nada a mi armario y fueron una auténtica ganga. Cuando llegan las rebajas, prefiero hacer mi visita a las tiendas los últimos días, que es cuando encuentro buenas ofertas y siempre encuentro piezas increíbles. Me gustaron tanto los pantalones que me traje dos, uno en blanco y otro en negro; así que me los veréis por aquí pronto. Me encanta lo limpio y estiloso que puede ser un look combinando tonos de blanco y camel. Se tiende a no llevar colores claros en invierno, sin embargo, creo que en sus versiones más neutras siempre son una buena opción, sabiendo escoger bien los tejidos que se asocian a cada época. Tailored trousers

These original tailored trousers are a versatile garment that can be worn many ways; from a causal look with sneakers to a night-out ensemble with a sheer blouse, passing by the working girl look. This last style is what I've created in some way pairing them with a comfortable pair of pumps, a striped top and a long warm cardigan. Kimono jacket

This cotton kimono jacket is being very useful these days. It helps me to wrap me up warm when it's cooler and adds a chic touch to the look. This time I used it in a girlish casual style paired with my new A-shape mini skirt in a fun colorful print. We took these pictures in a beautiful little square in Barcelona, at the moment when the sunlight was creating an amazing warm atmosphere.

Esta chaqueta kimono de algodón está siendo una pieza comodín estos días. Me ayuda a abrigar un poco esos looks más frescos y, al mismo tiempo, darles un punto más estiloso. En este look lo llevo en un look casual muy femenino, combinado con mi nueva falda estampada con un estilo muy setentero. How to wear dresses in winter

Wearing dresses in winter and not getting frozen is not that difficult; with a sweet shirt under it, showing the collar and tying a bow in contrast can help to bear the cold and and adds preppy chic touch to the whole ensemble. This is what I've done to my printed dress by ICHI new collection, not being able to wait for the spring to wear it. Dense tights and booties make the rest, and, of course, a furry coat. I know finding long-sleeved dresses is not easy, as in shops most of them are short-sleeved or sleeveless (such an incongruity), but you can wear these ones under a chunky cardigan or jumper and adapting it to the cold.

Llevar vestidos en invierno y no congelarse no es tan difícil; con una dulce camisa debajo, asomando el cuello y anudando un lazo en contraste nos ayuda a soportar el frío y añade un toque chic al conjunto. Esto es justo lo que he hecho con mi nuevo vestido de la nueva colección de ICHI, ya que no podía esperarme a la primavera para llevarlo. Unas medias tupidas, unos botines tipo chelsea y, por supuesto, un abrigo calentito encima (el mío ese día era de pelo sintético), acaban de completar el look. Sé que es algo complicado encontrar vestidos de manga larga en las tiendas, ya que parece que se empeñan en hacerlos de manga corta o sin mangas (algo totalmente incongruente en invierno), pero siempre podemos llevarlos con una jersey gordito o un cardigan encima, adaptándolos al frío. ¿Cómo lleváis vosotras los vestidos en invierno?

Look with sneakers

Sometimes we don't know how to wear sporty sneakers in a street look; it really is easier than we think because there aren't any specific rules to follow. A great variety of looks with sneakers has appeared in magazines and blogs: with casual dresses, jeans, in working girl outfits and even together with elegant dresses. They are the perfect accessory to play with in looks and feel comfy all the time. This time, I've combined them in a casual look with skinny jeans for a Saturday out with my boy. Tell me, ¿how do you wear your sneakers?

A veces no sabemos cómo llevar zapatillas deportivas en looks de calle; es realmente mucho más fácil de lo que pensamos, ya que no hay ninguna norma específica a seguir. Una gran variedad de looks con zapatillas han aparecido últimamente en revistas y blogs de moda: desde llevarlas con vestidos casual, tejanos, pantalón sastre a combinarlas con un vestido elegante. Son el accesorio perfecto para jugar con distintas combinaciones e ir cómoda. Esta vez las llevo en un outfit de día a día, cómodo que usé el sábado para un mañana fuera con mi chico. Over-the-knee boots

I've been looking for the right pair of over-the-the boots for a while. I didn't want them with heels, although they stylize a lot, but I couldn't use them in my busy daily life. So, when I saw these flat ones with a semi loose fit, I knew I was going to use them a lot. I prefer them with dresses and skirts, but I'm sure going to use them with pants as well. About the dress, it was a sales bargain; feeling attracted not just by its flowered print, but by the long sleeves and the ruffles in them.

Llevo un tiempo buscando unas botas mosqueteras que me gustasen. No las quería con tacón que, aunque estilizan más, no las podría usar en mi ajetreado día a día. Así que cuando vi estas planas y con un corte semi holgado que sienta tan bien, supe que iba a ponérmelas mucho. Con faldas y vestidos me gustan mucho más, pero seguro que también acabo usándolas en looks con pantalones. Por otro lado, el vestido fue un chollo de rebajas y, además del estampado de mini florecitas que me encanta, lo que más me atrajo fue que fuese de manga larga y el volante que lleva en cada una de ellas.

Bubble pink

Sun has been shinning in Barcelona these days and I needed to wear bright colours to fight against the cold winter. This bubble pink jumper is the perfect piece to cheer up my day. I've used it in contrast with some denim houndstooth and the yellow on my neoprene jacket. A casual look for every day with some special touches like the minimal necklace in candy colours and the delicate oxford shoes.

Y tras un look en negro como el del post anterior, os traigo uno bien distinto, muy colorido. Estos días ha salido el sol en Barcelona y me apetecían tonos brillantes y alegres para plantarle cara al frío. Este jersey rosa chicle es la pieza perfecta para alegrar mi día, es muy favorecedor. Lo he usado en contraste con algo de pata de gallo en denim y el llamativo amarillo del reverso de mi chaqueta de neopreno. Y añadiendo más dulzura al look, el precioso y minimalista collar de Fauna y Flora que me tiene enamorada, y los delicados zapatos oxfords de Ana Monsalve. ¿Qué os parece este look para un día relajado?

Mustard in Amsterdam

Last post of the year and last look from my weekend in the Netherlands capital. Amsterdam with its canals, beautiful architecture and cobblestoned streets is a perfect place to make amazing pictures in every corner. This ones were shot nearby the hotel. The weather was sunny with some clouds, but it was freezing and our clothes were essential to comfortably wander the city. This time I chose a houndstooth jumper and mustard skinnies, wearing under them thermal garments to bear the cold. After these pictures we hired bikes to go all over capital. Último post del año y último look de mi fin de semana a la capital holandesa. Amsterdam con sus canales, bonita arquitectura y calles adoquinadas se presta a que las fotos salgan bonitas en cualquier esquina. Esta vez en un rincón muy cerca del hotel donde estuvimos alojados. El tiempo nos acompañó e hizo bastante bueno los dos días, eso sí, un frío polar que obligaba a ir abrigadísimos. Para pasear a mis anchas por la ciudad me enfundé un jersey llamativo en pata de gallo y pitillos mostaza, bajo los cuales llevaba tanto camiseta como mallas térmicas. Aun así, la cara de frío no me la quita nadie. Tras estas fotos, fuimos a alquilar unas bicis para recorrer las calles.
