Pinafore dress and mix of prints

I declare myself a total fan of pinafore dresses; they are girlish and super versatile. I've already published on the blog many posts wearing this kind of dresses, and here you have another one. This is one belongs to the new collection of the Spanish brand Compañía Fantástica. The deep neckline permits to show a more special top under; I'm already thinking of wearing it with some ruffles. Ruffled blouses of every kind are everywhere this season and I love them, so I think they will make a great combo this my pinafore dress. What do you think? The animal print blouse and the bag and also from the dress' brand. I'm not afraid of mixing print, so I'm doing it again. This time, as the print on the blouse is neutral, the bright panda print on the bag puts all the fun on the outfit, doesn't it?

Me declaro loca de los pichis: estos vestidos de tirantes que te permiten ponerte otra prenda debajo e ir la mar de mona. Sí, dicho así, parece todo muy cursi y simple. Pero de cursi nada y de simple, pues allá cada una como quiera llevarlos. En el blog os he enseñado más de una vez looks con ellos, y es que es difícil resistirme a un vestido tipo pichi bonito. El que llevo es de la nueva colección de Compañía Fantástica, con quienes vuelvo a colaborar una temporada más, y me encantó nada más descubrirlo en su tienda online. Es un poco ancho y tiene la forma del escote pronunciada, lo que lo hace más especial y permite lucir más la prenda que llevemos debajo; con las blusas con chorreras y volantes que pueblan las tiendas esta temporada, no tardaréis en vérmelo con alguna de ellas... Por otro lado, ya sabéis que no me da miedo mezclar estampados, por lo que la mezcla de la blusa con el bolso me encanta, un estampado más neutro con uno más alocado y divertido que de juego al conjunto. ¿Os gusta?

How to wear culottes in winter

Culottes are the must-have pants that arrived gradually to our closets and now just a few of us still resist the use of them. Yes, it's true that they are, in some way, complicated to wear because of their short hem and wide shape that can visually shorten the legs. With heels they are more flattering for our figure. However, I dare to wear them with flat masculine shoes and I really like the result. Comfort and style at the same time, don't you think? In winter we can wear them with boots or tights to keep warm, but I wore it showing this little part of bare legs and had no problems with cold. I wrapped myself in a XL scarf and I was ready to face the winter weather. How do you wear your culottes?

Los pantalones culottes llegaron poco a poco a nuestros armarios y ahora pocas nos resistimos a ellos. Sí que es verdad que son algo complicados de llevar, por su largo y su forma ancha, que pueden hacer el efecto de acortar la pierna; con algo de tacón favorecen más a nuestra figura. Sin embargo, yo me atreví a llevarlos con calzado plano de estilo masculino y me gusta mucho el resultado. Comodidad por encima de todo y creo que no renuncio al estilo. ¿No creéis? En invierno los podemos llevar con botines o medias para no pasar frío, aunque yo me he animado a llevarlos con ese trocito de pierna al descubierto y no tuve problemas con la temperatura. Red Velvet

Red Velvet, that delicious cake that always catches my attention and it is as sweet as the cozy velvet jumper I am wearing in the pictures. This sweater is a special garment, I know, it has a flashy volume and colour. Besides, it has a sport deluxe touch that I adore. It is a garment that deserves all the importance in the outfit. I opted for houndstooth pants and my beloved masculine shoes. How would you wear it? All your ideas are welcome! :)

Red Velvet, ese delicioso pastel que tanto me llama siempre la atención y que es tan dulce como el jersey que llevo en las fotos de hoy. Un jersey tipo sudadera en terciopelo rojo súper achuchable. Es una prenda especial, lo sé, tiene volumen, un color y brillo llamativos y un tejido precioso. Además, tiene un puntillo sport-deluxe que me chifla. Es una pieza a la que hay que cederle todo el protagonismo, porque se lo merece y porque no necesitamos recargar el conjunto. The blazer

The blazer is a cool staple for a smart-casual look. It always helps to add a polished style to a simple look. I love the formula jeans and blazer, and I'm completing the ensemble with a youthful jumper. I think this outfit has some sort of British air, maybe because of the plaid jacket, the skinnies and the booties. My boy told me that I was looking as if I was going to take part in a hunt. La chaqueta americana es un básico perfecto para un estilo arreglado pero informal. Siempre ayuda a añadir ese punto pulido a cualquier look. Me encanta la fórmula de blazer más tejanos, y aquí completo el conjunto con un jersey juvenil y divertido. Le veo cierto aire inglés al look, quizás es por la mezcla de la chaqueta a cuadros con los pitillos y los botines. Además, mi chico dijo que podría irme perfectamente a una cacería así vestida, si no fuese porque sabe que estoy totalmente en contra de ellas. No sé, la verdad es que el resultado de esta mezcla aparentemente sencilla me gusta mucho. Cómodo, simple y chic. Long vest by La Böcöque

Undoubtedly, the main garment of this winter look is the beautiful dress by La Böcöque that I'm wearing as a vest. A soft, warm piece that stand out by its colourful checks and special fabric. La Bocöque is a Spanish brand born in Galicia where every garment is made with care and love. The new collection has plenty of feminine, chic and romantic clothing that I love.

Sin duda, la prenda protagonista de este look invernal es el precioso vestido de La Böcöque que llevo abierto a modo de chaleco. Es una prenda suave, mullida y calentita, que destaca por su colorido y cálido estampado, además de por su tejido especial. La Böcöque es una marca que nace de las manos de dos diseñadoras gallegas, Sara y Olalla. Ellas cuidan con mimo cada prenda y cada colección que crean. Lo vi cuando me enviaron el catálogo de su colección de invierno Pinotage, pero fue recibir la prenda en casa y confirmarlo. En su nueva colección se han inspirado en Amelia Earhart, la primera aviadora de la historia, una mujer valiente y fuerte. Military autumn coat

I've always loved military green. It's casual but, at the same time, in the proper way it adds a stylish touch to an every day look outfit. This easy-to-wear trench is an all-rounder for me this autumn. If worn it in many different ways but I specially like how it pairs with the pale orange go my funny pineapples shirt. Don't you think? Because, yes, pineapples are not just for summer and tropical vibes, they can be worn of year long. The accessories make the rest, always important to add your personality to a look.

Siempre me ha gustado el color verde militar. Puede ser casual, pero a la vez, llevado de la manera correcta, aporta ese punto de estilo a los looks para el día a día. Esta gabardina tan fácil de llevar esta siendo un comodín para mí este otoño. Lo he llevado de muchas formas distintas, pero me encanta especialmente combinada con el naranja pálido de mi divertida camisa de piñas. ¿No creéis? Y sí, las piñas no solo son para el verano ni para dar ese aire tropical, sino que podemos llevarlas todo el año como os muestro en este look. Palo Alto Market

Some Saturdays ago we spent the morning in Palo Alto Market, a very cool event taking place in Barcelona the first weekend of every month. Designers, brands, vintage garments, foodtrucks and good music concentrate in a nice space full of good vibes. That was my first time there and I will repeat for sure, I loved it! The place is wonderful; an old restored factory with some rooms and creative spaces and a beautiful garden in Poblenou district. Totally recommended if you're visiting the city. You'll enjoy a lot!

Hace un par de sábados fuimos a pasar la mañana en Palo Alto Market, un evento muy molón que tiene lugar en Barcelona un fin de semana al mes. Diseñadores, marcas, ropa vintage, foodtrucks y buena música se concentran en un bonito espacio lleno de buen rollo. Era la primera vez que iba y ya tengo ganas de repetir, me encantó. Ya el entorno en sí es una maravilla; una vieja fábrica rehabilitada, con varias salas, espacios creativos y mucho jardín, en el barrio de Poblenou. Todo muy hipster, urbano pero sofisticado. Si no habéis ido os lo recomiendo, os encantará seguro. Aquí os dejo varias fotos que hicimos en nuestra visita al recinto.

Trench for autumn

Real autumn looks are arriving, no matter we are resisting to them, still thinking of summer holidays. Cool weather is already here and days are shorter. The trench is an essential fall garment that I personally love and has lots of possibilities. This time, making the most of the weather we are having that still permits us going bare-legged, I wore my new girlish shorts. A perfect outfit either for everyday or going out, just changing the accessories can be adapted for any situation. In this case, I opted for the minimalism of pointed toe flats, touch of color in the XS bag, wood watch, my favourite necklace and cat-eye sunnies. Wanna come for a walk? :P

Ya van tocando esos looks de otoño, aunque nos resistamos y nos encante mirar las fotos de las vacaciones. El fresquito ya se va adueñando de los días que además se van haciendo más cortos y más aún con el dichoso cambio de hora. La gabardina es una de esas prendas por excelencia del entretiempo y que a mí, personalmente, me encanta y me sirve como comodín para crear gran cantidad de estilismos distintos. Esta vez, aprovechando que cuando hay sol aún podemos ir con las piernas al aire (sí, me resisto a las medias aunque pronto acabaran cayendo) estrené esta bonita falda-pantalón de la nueva colección de Pepaloves, que se alza como protagonista del look. Un outfit perfecto tanto para el día a día como para salir, de esos todoterreno por los que suelo decantarme y que con sólo cambiar los accesorios podemos adaptar a cualquier situación. En este caso opté por el minimalismo de unos zapatos planos de punta que me traje de Nueva York y no sé porqué no me había puesto aún, toque de color en el bolso XS, reloj de madera, mi colgante preferido y gafas de sol estilo cat-eye. ¿Nos vamos de paseo?

Navy Blazer

I was looking forward for this autumnal weather and taking out my jackets from the back of the wardrobe. I wore this look last Sunday for a lunch with my boy in Barcelona. Blazers are basic for this weather and a navy one is standing out in today's pictures. I specially like its loose fit and striped print that make it a timeless garment.

Ya te tenía ganas de algo de tiempo otoñal y poder sacar mangas largas y chaquetas finas. Llevé este look el fin de semana pasado para salir a comer por Barcelona con mi chico y ya apetecía llevar algo de manga para cubrirme de aire. Los blazers son básicos para en entretiempo y uno de estilo marinero es el protagonista de las fotos de hoy. Es de la diseñadora Andrea Martínez y me encanta su corte amplio y esas rayas navy que lo convierten en una pieza atemporal.

Tomboy style

Tomboy style doesn't mean you're not feminine. I love how elegant and attractive can look girls with such a masculine style. The key is in choosing the right garments to complete the look. The pants are essential; a nice pair like the ones I'm wearing today can infuse the cool touch you may be looking for: high waist, wide leg and great pattern design. The rest is made by the accessories. A total different look in contrast with the one I posted on Tuesday. One day I feel more girlish, another day I need something more masculine, but I'm always myself. ¡Enjoy your day!

Apostar por un estilo tomboy no quiere decir restar feminidad. Me encanta lo elegante y atractiva que puede estar una mujer en un estilo tan masculino. La clave está es saber escoger bien las piezas y cuidar los detalles. Los pantalones son esenciales; un bonito par como el que llevo puede añadir ese aire estiloso que andas buscando: cintura alta que acentuamos con cinturón, pernera ancha y un buen trabajo de patronaje. El resto lo hacen los complementos. Un look totalmente distinto al que os enseñé el martes. Unos días me siento más femenina y otras me apetece tirar por lo masculino, pero siempre siendo yo. Camel and blue

I find camel a very cool colour that can instantly add style to a look. This simple camel turtleneck paired with one of my favourite skirts (there are many looks with it on the blog) make a flawless combo. The special piece in this look is the knit spring coat from ICHI. I'm tired of winter garments, but still need something to warm me up when cold hits, so it's perfect. I will keep on using it in spring, so you'll see other ways to wear this kind of pieces. Encuentro el color camel muy elegante y que añade estilo a cualquier look al instante. Este simple jérsey de cuello alto combinado con una de mis faldas preferidas en tonos similares hacen una combinación perfecta. La pieza más especial de este conjunto es el abrigo de punto primaveral de Ichi. Estoy ya un poco cansada de las prendas invernales, así que ésta me viene de lujo para resguardarme de frío como éste aprieta. Black leather pants

A pair of black leather pants should be a basic in all girl's wardrobe. I already had ones in the form of leggings, but I wanted a more sophisticated pair. This model is the same as the white leather trousers I showed you last week. In both colours they are very playful and I'll show you different looks with them to see how different they can look depending the way they are worn. This time it's a casual comfy look with a horse-printed spring jumper and a plaid coat. You know I'm not afraid of mixing prints, so this time wasn't an exception. Un par de pantalones de piel negros deberían ser un básico en el armario de cualquier mujer. Yo ya tenía unos en forma de leggings, pero quería algo más sofisticado. Este modelo es el mismo par de pantalones en piel blanca que os enseñé la semana pasada. En ambos colores son piezas que dan mucho juego y podemos crear looks de estilos muy variado. No tengo un estilo definido, más bien ecléctico, me encanta divertirme con la moda y un día me apetece ir de un modo y otro totalmente distinta, así que este tipo de prendas le van genial a mi armario. White Leather Pants

The white leather pants have just arrived to my closet and were a bargain. When it comes to sales, I prefer making my visit to shops when they are ending and it's the time I find the best opportunities; I always come accross amazing garments. I liked the pants so much that I took them in two colours, white and black, so you'll see them around here soon too. I love how clean and stylish can be a look by mixing different shades of white and camel. We tend not to wear light outfits in winter, however, neutral light hues are always a good option no matter the season. It's easy to create a cool and timeless ensemble with them. What do you think about this look? Do you dare wearing whites in winter?

Estos pantalones blancos de piel han llegado hace nada a mi armario y fueron una auténtica ganga. Cuando llegan las rebajas, prefiero hacer mi visita a las tiendas los últimos días, que es cuando encuentro buenas ofertas y siempre encuentro piezas increíbles. Me gustaron tanto los pantalones que me traje dos, uno en blanco y otro en negro; así que me los veréis por aquí pronto. Me encanta lo limpio y estiloso que puede ser un look combinando tonos de blanco y camel. Se tiende a no llevar colores claros en invierno, sin embargo, creo que en sus versiones más neutras siempre son una buena opción, sabiendo escoger bien los tejidos que se asocian a cada época. Over-the-knee boots

I've been looking for the right pair of over-the-the boots for a while. I didn't want them with heels, although they stylize a lot, but I couldn't use them in my busy daily life. So, when I saw these flat ones with a semi loose fit, I knew I was going to use them a lot. I prefer them with dresses and skirts, but I'm sure going to use them with pants as well. About the dress, it was a sales bargain; feeling attracted not just by its flowered print, but by the long sleeves and the ruffles in them.

Llevo un tiempo buscando unas botas mosqueteras que me gustasen. No las quería con tacón que, aunque estilizan más, no las podría usar en mi ajetreado día a día. Así que cuando vi estas planas y con un corte semi holgado que sienta tan bien, supe que iba a ponérmelas mucho. Con faldas y vestidos me gustan mucho más, pero seguro que también acabo usándolas en looks con pantalones. Por otro lado, el vestido fue un chollo de rebajas y, además del estampado de mini florecitas que me encanta, lo que más me atrajo fue que fuese de manga larga y el volante que lleva en cada una de ellas.

We shot today's look one morning before going to work, take away coffee in hand and comfy clothes to spend the day. I chose and almost total look in cream with my new warm Morgan jumper. The backpack adds a casual touch to the outfit. Enjoy your week!

Hicimos las fotos de este look una mañana antes de irme a trabajar, con café para llevar en mano (¡adoro esa taza!) y prendas cómodas para pasar uno de esos días sin parar. Escogí un casi total look en colores crema, donde el protagonista en mi nueva y calentito jersey Morgan. Plaid coat

Finally, freezing cold arrived to Barcelona. Coats, gloves, beanies, scarfs...everything is needed. This plaid coat helped to bear an anoying windy day in the city, being part of an almost monochrome look where the pink hues of the top and shoe laces add some colour to the ensemble. what kind of looks you wear on cold days?

Finalmente el frío llegó a Barcelona. Abrigos, guantes, goors, bufandas,...todo ha ido saliendo de nuestro armario casi de golpe. Este abrigo a cuadros me ayudó a sobrellevar un molesto día de viento en la ciudad, siendo parte de un look monocromo casi en su totalidad, excepto por los tonos en rosa que aportan tanto el jersey como los lazos de los zapatos. ¿Qué tipo de looks usáis estos días de frío?

Coco Chanel

Fashion Pills has been inspired by the great Coco Chanel to create this printed tee. In fact, it is part of #FPtomboy T-shirts collection, printed with original illustrations in black. I like them all! I'm wearing mine in a casual look with some garments that make it special, like the plaid jacket, the T-shirt and the geometrical necklace. A look that can be worn all day long just changing the shoes according to the situation; sneakers for the hurry and heels for an afterwork with friends. ¿Do you use this kind of looks?

En Fashion Pills se han inspirado en la grandísima Coco Chanel para crear esta camiseta tan molona por Tomboy. De hecho, forma parte de la T-collection #FPtomboy de camiseta blancas con originales ilustraciones en negro. ¡Me gustan todas! La llevo en un look casual pero con algunas piezas que lo hacen especial, como por ejemplo la chaqueta de cuadros, el misma camiseta y el collar de Lito y Lola, que me parece una pasada y que no se acaba de ver del todo en las fotos, así que os lo enseñaré mejor otro día. Lo veo ideal para llevar todo el día, simplemente cambiando el calzado según la ocasión; zapatillas para el ajetreo y taconazos para salir a tomar algo después del trabajo. ¿Qué os parece?

Textured Mini Dress

Fluffy coats are everywhere right now. I've got mine for three winters and it is still a must have in my wardrobe, being the protagonist of many of my looks. Today I'm wearing it with a mini dress in a special fabric which is a mix of tweed and denim. Its shape is quite simple but really fetching and the texture makes it very original.

Los abrigos esponjosos de pelito están ahora en todas partes. Yo tengo el mío desde hace tres temporadas y sigue siendo una pieza clave en mi armario. Hoy lo llevo con un mini vestido de un tejido especial, una mezcla entre tweed y tejano. Su forma es bastante simple pero realmente favorecedora, además la textura lo hace muy original.
