Cozy jumper and over-the-knee boots

An original but comfy look for a stroll in the city on a sunny Sunday. I could't say which garment stands out (The over-the-knee-boots, the jumper, the teddy coat or the DIY belt bag) , I think all of them create an ensemble that I love without diminishing importance between them. You might know that I like wearing young designer's clothes and, since I met the Spanish brand Amateur, I've been in love with it. I have to admit that the jumper is even better in real: soft touch, perfect texture, incredible colour and super cozy. I've been wearing it a lot in many different ways.

Suspenders and ckecked pants

Suspenders are one of these accessories that are usually associated to men dressing, but I love them. I used to have them in many colors when I was a child and as an adult I still like them a lot (in a less childish version, of course!). These ones were not mine (now they are), but my boyfriend's. They fit so good not just with pants but also with skirts for a cool and sophisticated working girl look that I fancy. Do you like wearing suspenders? I'm in the search of new ones, I love them ones that wear text, like the vintage Chanel ones (sad they are not on my budget!). Any suggestions?

When it rains in Tokyo

First post from my trip to Japan, starting with a travel look to comfortably wander the city while I finish writing the travel guide of Tokyo which will be the next post. Stay tuned! So, back to what I wore, I must begin saying that it was a rainy day with some light showers and the umbrella (that we could borrow from the hotel) was the main accessory. How cool a transparent umbrella can be! You see that I (almost) gave in to a total black, just adding some colour with the accesories: the printed bag and the statement earring. And yes, my Converse sneakers, as super essencial in my trips, were a must-wear to stroll around the city all day long and stay comfortable.

Navy style in Porto

A navy look with " a twist" is what I wore during one of my days in the beautiful city of Porto. I have the classic stripes for a fun octopus embroidered jumpsuit and the sailor hat and the net bag were the cherry on top of the look. We had already been in the Portuguese capital and we loved it, so we wanted to also visit Porto and see if it was as charming as Lisbon. I have to say that we totally fell in love with it. Although the weather was a bit crazy (super sunny, suddenly hailing and then sunny again...and all day like this), we could enjoy the city a lot. We were there just for three days. There are many different plans to do: wine tastings, admiring the architecture and the tiles everywhere, eating delicious food, sailing the Douro river... Have you been in Porto? Do you like this navy style?

How to prepare your travel luggage

Not much is needed to create a good travel look comfy enough to spend all day wandering the place you are visiting and chic at the same time. The key: fill the suitcase mostly with basics and add some special garments to make a great look. Paper bag trousers are the perfect allies to this kind of outfits because, beside being so stylish, they go well with everything. I have these ones in two different colors and I've posted many looks with them, as for example here and here. The rest of the look: a basic tee, flat shoes (in this case my beloved loafers) a medium-size bag and then, the special garment, as it's this bomber with the embroidered tigers. I know, in this case, the colorful bag gives an extra touch and makes the whole look work. Besides, on my suitcase I always put a small box with special earrings and other small accessories to add the cherry on top to the outfits. How do you prepare your travel luggage?

Midi skirt and mixing prints

I adore mixing prints. This is not the first time I've shown you on the blog and won't be the last one. I love it! I know, it is a risky combo and the result is not always good, but I think that, in this case, the different prints make a nice combination. Among all the garments in the look, the neoprene midi skirt itself has lot of strength. I usually wear it with basics, but this time I wanted to play with my wardrobe and make it more fun. Midi skirts have been filling stores and wardrobes for some seasons already, and I hope this goes on because I love them in all their versions. Although I've been wearing this one in spring and summer looks, this time I felt in the mood of trying a new combo with my over-the-knee boots. How do you feel about this mix? Too risky?

Adoro mezclar estampados. No es la primera vez que os he enseñado un look "mix and match" por aquí, ni será la última. ¡Me encanta! Mola, ¿no?

Baker boy hat, street style in Paris

Baker boy hats are one of the key accessories this season. They have been seen in many versions, textures and prints in stores, and I wandered Paris to finally find mine in a vintage shop. I couldn't wait to wear them and wore it the day after. We took the photos in one of the most magnificent places in Paris: Place Vendôme, with its impressive column with relieves. It does not appear on the pictures as I am in love with the perfect façades and colorful doors and wanted them to be the focus on the pictures. Undoubtedly, Paris inspires: beautiful architecture, music, art everywhere, street style...I woke up that morning, looked at the views of the city rooftops (they are incredible!) and got inspired in this red and black look. It has personality and it's chic. Don't you think? When I'm preparing my luggage I always think of a variety garments (most of them basics) that combine with each other: I never think of particular looks and I know I'll dress as I feel that day. How do you prepare your traveling luggage?

Ciao, Roma!

Last weekend I enjoyed some amazing days in Rome in really goo company, my mum, as the ones who follow me on Instagram could watch on my Stories. The weather was good so we wandered the city from one side to the other almost everyday; the perfect way to discover all these hidden corners that are found by chance when you get lost. This is the travel look for one of my getaway days. As always, comfort is a must. Accessories take an important part in the travel game: medium-size bag so I can bring all I need with me (camera included) and comfy masculine shoes that make my feet bear all the walking.

Pleated skirt and beret

There's nothing more Parisian, talking bout style, than a beret. I adore them and have different versions of this kind of hat, however, the felt one is my favorite, and the most Parisian one. It always gives a chic touch to any look and it adapts to almost any style, from the sweetest to urban ones. This time, the preppy girl in me is out in a look where every single garment is important. The pleated leather skirt and the knitted top are the basis of the outfit, but the accessories take also a lot of importance. The beret and the scarf give the sweet touch and the over-the-knee boots add the urban touch. Do you like this kind of looks?

¿No creéis?

New classics

I've always been an addict to checkered prints in all their versions. I haven't worn them to follow any trend, just because I love them. This season, glen plaid is almost a must. It is one os these new classics. I already had some pants and a blazer, but I could resist to this wrap mini skirt. Isn't it super cool? Another of the timeless trends that never fail is the trench. It has been reinvented over the years, however, I've always been a fan of its classic version in camel. Te one that makes any look amazing and never looses style. The accessories put the cherry on top to the look: super comfy over-the-knee boots and my beloved colored lenses sunnies (I adore the contrast they create).

Midi skirt in Le Marais, Paris.

My last trip to Paris, which I've been posting many pics on my Instagram, was fantastic. There's nothing that's revitalizes me more than traveling. Undoubtedly, besides spending times with my pencils and brushes, it's what inspires me more. Discovering new places, or even rediscover known ones, absorb the environment, the streets, the corners, the people, the life...soak in every little detail of this place I'm visiting. It fills something inside me, fires a new light, a sensation that I can barely explain but is so intense and gives me a punch of great energy. I look at the work with little girl eyes, a explorer, where the curiosity comes out of every pore in my skin and makes me have all my senses on, paying attention to every new experience, or living already-lived experiences as new ones too. It helps me to get away of monotony, routine and personal things that sometimes make me feel down. Paris is always a good place to get beautiful feelings: its light, the architecture and all the beauty that it radiates. For one of our days in he romantic Paris I wore this amazing midi skirt, which makes flawless look on its own (at least in my opinion). A black long sleeve crop top, comfy loafers to wander the city and cool bag. ¿Do you like it? ¿What's traveling for you?

Jumpsuit for autumn

Unbelievably, this jumpsuit has been unworn in my wardrobe for more than a year. I didn't find the moment and I wasn't in the mood of wearing it. I know it seems something dumb, but this is it! I guess I needed to wake up one morning and say " Today is the day to wear it!". And now I love it and I want to wear it many time in different looks. It's easy to wear. comfortable and really nice. Playing with the accessories I created a 70s look that I feel very comfortable in. These yellow lens sunglasses (that I fancy!) and the wide leather belt help to create this vintage touch. The muster jacket add the cherry on top for a autumnal cool look.

70s dress

I don't know for how long I'll be able to go bare-legged this season, but I'm making the most of these last days of warm weather in Barcelona. I wanted to wear this dress without tights, I think it looks better, although sooner of later I'll have to cover my legs again. This is a comfy and feminine look: 70s dress with some urban touch adding the military green jacket. I love how the combo looks. What do you think? Are you already wearing tights?

A walk around Atrani in a blue dress

Today we are going for a walk around Atrani, a little and quiet town in the Amalfi Coast very close to the crowded (but beautiful) Amalfi. Undoubtedly, these photos are one of the most beautiful ones that we have taken this summer, with regard look pics. the setting is really magical, charming and invites to dream of the Italian glamour scenes so La Dolce Vita. On the other side, the look just helped to create even a more ideal atmosphere: chic and sophisticated as well as fresh and feminine. Although this marvelous blue dress catches all the attention, the accessories also take an important part here. Yes, I've become addicted to wear just one statement earring. Why wearing two when the one one is going to be hidden under the hair? Besides...I like this way and that's it...hahaha!

Crochet top and pleats

This crochet top is possibly the one that I'm wearing more this summer. It fits so good with many of my looks, always giving the special touch that I like. It hasn't appeared yet in any other post on the blog, but on some of my Instagram looks, so you can find other ways I've worn it in my galley. Anyway, I'm sure it will appear in other looks here soon. The shirt I'm pairing it this time is one of those special pieces that arrive to your wardrobe and you end up giving it a twist, maybe in your mind there's something different of what the designer had when creating it. It is from La Böcöque, a Spanish brand I've worn other times on the blog, and the designers are super nice. They designed it as a blouse or short shirt-dress, but I'm wearing it as a some sort of vest. I specially like the playful sleeves and their pleats creating a fun volumen.

The Style Outlets Viladecans - travel look

Some weeks ago I was invited to The Style Outlets Viladecans in Barcelona, to discover the shopping center and enjoy a fun evening about fashion and traveling. The Style Outlets is about 15-20 minutes from Barcelona city centre and 10 minutes from the airport. There are many different ways to get to the shopping centre and there is a shuttle bus from Barcelona. There is a great variety of brands and restaurants and it offers different services so you can shop in confort. In my afternoon there, I had a fun challenge: find a look for 100 € suitable for a trip to somewhere in the world. My somewhere was Costa Rica, so I wandered the mall discovering new brands in my research for the perfect outfit. I needed something comfortable (and stylish, of course) to spend my a trip walking the jungle. I found a cool safari-style romper and vegan leather backpack at Adolfo Dominguez and a thing satin scarf to wear as belt in Parfois. What do you think about my choice? Thanks a lot to The Style Outlets for a great afternoon!

Light summer and summer light

A monochrome look for summer in light tones is classy yet trendy. In this case, accessories take a big importance, but the main garments are as well special because of their volumes and shapes. I'm loving this paper bag waist trousers, a reinvention of the culottes mixed with the baggy pants. The top is an original piece made by Judith Bel, a young designer from Barcelona, with soft ruffled sleeves that make the difference. The little neck scarf, found in my grandma's wardrobe years ago, adds the cool touch with its pop of colour and print. Other important accessories here are the shoes; these amazing flatform sandals that I'm wearing everywhere. They are designed in Barcelona too, and made in Alicante, a city in the coast of Spain with a great tradition in shoemaking. My Kupuri sandals are not just comfortable, they are great quality and little details are taken with care. Once again, I'm betting on small (great) brands and slow fashion.I felt really comfortable wearing this look, enjoying summer light in a sunny day in my beautiful Barcelona. Which garment is your favorite in this look?

Slow Fashion and Tiralahilacha

This beautiful facade filled with buganvilla flowers appeared in front of us and we felt it was the ideal place to shot the look of the day I was wearing. An outfit of sweet and light shades that, unintentionally, fitted in with this bucolic setting. The ones who have been following me for a while may know that I love collaborating with emerging brands and young designers, help them in visibility, and above all, show the amazing work they do and promote the slow fashion. Designs made with love and care where every garment is treated specially and has an important value, not just for the designer but for the person who purchases it. In this case, I'm wearing an original and delicate top by Tiralahilacha, a fashion brand from Barcelona which defends the ethical fashion and fair trade, and also their products are respectful with the environment as their two last collections are made with organic cotton. What do you think of slow fashion?

Bomber and leather skinnies

Red bomber jacket and (fake) leather skinnies. These are the two main garments in this spring look, where the amazing pop of colour of the jacket gives the extra stylish vibes to te whole ensemble. A cool and sophisticated look, with a rocker touch that I love. ¿What do you think? The blouse adds the sweet and chic part; flowers, neck bow and sheer, a combo of details that make it a hit.
